  3. Press Convert to Excel and open the .xlsx file in Excel or Google Sheets.

Good to know

  • Money (£1,200.50), percentages and numbers in brackets are converted to numbers automatically.
  • Works best with PDFs created by software, such as statements, invoices and reports.
  • Scanned PDFs need PDF OCR first.

Frequently asked questions

Will my columns line up?

Columns are worked out from where the text sits on the page. Tables with clear columns convert well. Text in merged cells may need a quick tidy.

Can I convert a bank statement?

Yes. It’s processed on your device, so your financial details stay private.

Does it open in Google Sheets?

Yes. Upload the .xlsx file to Google Drive and open it with Google Sheets.
